- 400g beef strips
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Coat the beef strips in cornstarch until well-coated.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2-3 minutes.
- Cook the beef strips in the pan until crispy and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Set the cooked beef aside on a plate.
- Sauté the garlic and ginger in the same pan for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili sauce, and sugar in a bowl and pour the mixture over the vegetables in the pan.
- Combine everything, tossing the crispy beef with the sauce for about a minute.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
